2.5m more per year for Kerry Wood right?

 

No..closer to 6 million more per year for Wood. A little less than 6 this year, a little more than 6 next year.

 

Oh, the fun of a somewhat decent and very inconsistent relief pitcher. Gregg has been dominant his last 6 outings, and now he doesn't have anything on his pitches today. This is starting to remind me of Dempster in New York in 2007, which is not a good memory at all.

Reminiscent of Dempster with the amount of times we've heard the "you can't pitch yourself into a save situation" talk from Len.
