what sport were you playing where you saw several people tear acls, slamball with fake trampolines mixed in?

Played soccer all my life. Had a teammate tear it in U-14, high school, spring soccer in high school and in college.

This Baylor-A&M game is brutal to watch. A&M is playing terrible and Baylor is getting all the calls.

:(

So I guess A&M is overrated ;-)

We didn't play like a top 25 team last night, yet still almost managed to win on the road against a top 25 team. If the Aggies could have someone hit 3's consistently, they would be a dangerous team come tourney time. But speaking of overrated, the horns come to town on Saturday. I hope they get a nice beatdown.

A&M should win, road games in the Big 12 are brutal.

Tough break for Mizzou. Sounds like Safford tore his ACL yesterday, and they still have KSU and KU coming up.

Ugh, it had to be right before we play 3 games against teams with very large frontcourts. I guess the silver lining is that Underwood will actually have some minutes going into next year now, and maybe/hopefully/pleasepleaseplease his insane rebounding ability thus far will translate a little bit and make Mizzou a more different team(better on the boards, worse on the defensive perimeter) rather than simply a worse one.

Damn. I wanted the Big Ten to do well this tournament (hoping for MSU, Purdue, OSU in Final 4). Purdue is in trouble w/o Hummel. Maybe Sweet 16 max.

Pretty much the definition of a Pyrrhic victory for Purdue.

Really hate to see injuries like that, and especially to such a good player/kid. I may not like Purdue as a team/program, but, individually, I really like most all their players. The Big Ten has just been crushed by injuries this year. Sucks.

A quick acknowledgement to dr. bum.

Worst part is an ACL injury normally takes 1 year of playing on it before it gets back to 100%. That means Hummel will likely not be nearly as effective next year and probably will be a spot up 3-pt shooter because he won't have the strength to post up and fight for position in the post.

Stephen Bardo: "Shurna is so hot right now he could throw the ball in the ocean without even looking"

Pretty sure I could do that too Steve. Even on a cold shooting night.

He means he could do it from Evanston.

I'd pay to see that.

Not to derail the discussion(s) about legitimate basketball teams, but IU has clearly been at the point where they just flat out aren't even going to try anymore for awhile now. We're at the point where the highlight of the game is the coach getting tossed. I'm sure Moses Abraham was impressed. God, this season can't end soon enough.
