looks like i was right about egwu, only missed on the day. i got the week right, though.

 

i'm still not terribly impressed by what i've heard.

 

Up to a 4 star on Rivals, and he's still very raw. I'm coming around.

I've read that the Purdue boards compared him to JuJuan Johnson at the same stage. I like this get. Plus it puts more pressure on some of our other guys as the spots are shrinking again.

KU's Rivals site saying Beal will visit KU for late night. Still no confirmation by the more trustworthy (imo) scout site.

 

It's true. Beal will be there along with the entire Chaminade team. This recruitment is going to be pretty interesting going forward, but Self certainly got a big leg up on Weber by inviting the entire team. He pretty much made sure Beal would be in Lawrence by doing that. Also KU's Madness is way sweeter than the one at Illinois.

Illinois has handed out 120K tickets for Friday night.

 

I don't expect they'll all fit inside Assembly Hall, though. :)

It's true. Beal will be there along with the entire Chaminade team. I have to be honest, I always thought Midnight madness was a bit of a snooze. The scrimmages are always boring, the skits are always lame. The buildup is cool, and when the players come out the first time, it's awesome. After that...kinda boring.

 

I'm surprised Beal came to ours this year since I'm pretty sure he was at ours last season. Can't hurt. I really want that guy.

He was at both of ours last year. Ours was a couple weeks before yours I believe.

The coach is what concerns me. He's pushing him towards KU. We need him on campus soon, and if Leonard and Abrams happened to be down there that same weekend, that'd be nice.

Ball State's game with Purdue is being moved to Dec. 19th in Indy for the Wooden Tradition. Was going to be in Mackey on Dec. 5th.

 

I like it. Good chance to get some exposure.

oh my god. i'm not going to get my hopes up, but either beal or miller would make for an outstanding class. both would be mind blowing.

If we get one, I would imagine we prolly would be favored land the other. Sounds like Beal will decide first.

Me too, but I'm tired of coming up just short. Would love to add both of these kids to Jereme Richmond.

I really think Beal is a big litmus test for us. We have definately shut down the state borders to an extent. Beal is a St. Louis kid and we are going up against one of the big dogs. We manage to get him and I am really excited for what it could mean for our program.
