Berman says the Vikes shouldn't take a QB because Favre is gonna play next year. That's one hell of a rationalization. Man he's dumb.

Next year's draft is weak at QB, isn't it? This is a golden chance for Minnesota.

Vikings trade pick to the Lions? WTF?

They need a LT. Watch out for this Lions teams. It pains me to say it, but they are freaking stacked now if they get a good LT.

It's strange, but I like the Tebow pick for Denver. McDaniels can work very well with QBs (look at Matt Cassell) and if anybody is going to turn Tebow into an NFL QB it's McDaniels. Also, the closest you're going to get in the NFL to Florida's spread offense is Denver, so it'll be less of an adjustment for him.

They shouldn't have given a 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounder to get him though.

Matt Cassell the one year wonder. Scott Mitchell was really good for one season too.

He also helped develop Tom Brady (though to what extent I'm not sure). I want to see Cassell with some talent around him in KC before writing him off. And even if you consider him a one-year wonder, you have to wonder if it was a random fluke or if McDaniels had a lot to do with it.

You said he was 14th in QB rating making him slightly above average in that stat. You can't have a slightly above average passing attack with a below average QB is what you're telling me?

Umm QB rating is a individual stat. QB rating isn't the end all be all. It's major weakness is that it gives way to much credit for having lots of yards per pass attempt and TD%. Neither of those was Orton particularly good at. He had a good completion percentage and a good TD-INT ratio. He is an average to above-average QB. Saying he is well-blow average is just plain wrong which is what I have been arguing.

Backus actually is a good LT. their main problem in protection was fielding the worst LG rotation in the league, but the trade for Sims fixed that

QB rating is attributed to an individual, but it is so very team dependent it's unreliable.

Carolina would never take Clausen. They've never taken a QB before the 4th round with the current brain trust.

And Ice is a Falcons fan, that's why he wouldn't want it, Snayke.
