What did Cowboys give up to move? Who cares? We got Dez!

Seriously. This is the most excited I have been for a pick in a long time.

I'm really liking Bulaga to the Packers. I hope his health issue that he had earlier in the year is resolved but he should help an offensive line that struggled last year.

It got stronger as the season went on, but for the first 5 or 6 games I'm surprised Rodgers just didn't walk off the field with as much as he was getting hit. It's a good pick.

Clifton and Tauscher both seemed eager to take on a mentoring role this year as well. Bulaga's going to get to learn from two guys that were pretty good in their primes.

Wow.

Poor Brady Quinn.

Brady Quinn sucks. How can anyone feel sorry for him?

I don't. I was just pointing out how he just got traded and had a chance at a fresh start, but now this. Sucks to be him.

Well just on ability, he should beat out Tebow.

Who is going to be their LT?

Doug Free. Apparently the coaches have said they liked enough of what they saw on tape of Free.

I also don't think any of the tackles left on the board could step in and start. Sure if we could have gotten one of the top ones, but that wasn't going to happen at 27.

What about during the second round?

Maybe. I'm thinking that they could go safety (Burnett, Allen, Jones) in the second. Of course, a lot of people think the Cowboys will try to pick up O.J. from the Rams if he becomes a FA on June 1. There's also the possibility they will trade a late rounder for his rights if the Rams think they can't sign him.

Who really knows. The Cowboys coveted Bryant. I think his character issues are overblown and that he is a superior talent, even a top ten talent so to get him by just trading a 3rd for a 4th...I think is a great move.

McDaniels: "I think we will trade one of the best WR's to ruin that and make our team worse. Sounds good to me."

Common Sense: "Why not swallow your ego and give the guy a contract rather than trade him. You can't get WR's with his talent very often. You had a QB have a high 80's QB rating in his first year in your system and a great core of WR's"

McDaniels: "I will not be disrespected. I can disrespect Pro Bowl WR's and QB's but no one can disrespect me."

Common Sense: "You traded for Brady Quinn and have a good young QB already. Your set at QB."

McDaniels: "I didn't draft either of them so I have to get my guy."

Brady Quinn got 9 starts before the entire league gave up on him. And Tim Tebow goes before Jimmy Clausen. Absolutely ridiculous.

According to ESPN.com's analysis, the Broncos drafted Tebow to be the assistant QB coach and spiritual leader. Seems like a lot to pay for that kind of thing, but hey, a need's a need.

I heard the team chaplain quit and who better than to pray for their souls than Tebow.

Where did Brandon Marshall get traded to?

It's strange, but I like the Tebow pick for Denver. McDaniels can work very well with QBs (look at Matt Cassell) and if anybody is going to turn Tebow into an NFL QB it's McDaniels. Also, the closest you're going to get in the NFL to Florida's spread offense is Denver, so it'll be less of an adjustment for him.

They shouldn't have given a 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounder to get him though.

Michael Smith says the Browns may trade back into the 1st round with New York. If that means what I think it does...
