However, I bet my excitement will pick up on the drive home!

I'm pretty pumped. Why? Not because I think this is the year. I am not foolish. I am excited because it is now the best time of the year and we are contenders. At this point in the year that's all that matters. You can't even really think of the WS or playoffs yet. I'm going to enjoy this season.

 

That said, if they go 0-for-3 again I'm not gonna be happy...

And for all you Opening Day-excitement-evaluators out there, it's not like I'm sitting around whining about it being Opening Day, I'm just not jacked up for it like I usually am. Usually I'm counting down the days once Feb./March hits, but it kind of snuck up on me this year. Maybe my excitement will pick up as the day progresses. Or after that first inning Milton Bradley home run.

Only about Fukudome batting 9th, and thats only half joking. Maybe flip flop Lee/Soto, but other than that, it looks like a damn good lineup. Ram/Bradley/Sori/Soto/Lee would be a nighmarish gauntlet for any pitcher.
