I watched the women's NIT championship today. I didn't realize the ladies had a 30 second shot clock. I think the men should switch to that, too.

I agree. there is really no point in having 35 seconds. I actually wouldnt be opposed to going to 24 seconds but i think 30 is better/more realistic.

Yeah, Kellog has gone from "credit UNC's defense" to "Nova can't make crap" in short order. UNC's defense has been good but this is just a bricklaying convention.

Haha, I actually had stopped paying attention to my bracket long ago, but somehow after ending the first round in last place in the office pool, I just ended up being the only person to get both finalists right and I'm guaranteed to win money. 25-person pool.

That's exactly what happened to me. I got murdered the first 2 rounds, but I got 3 out 4 Final Four teams right. I could win $50 if UNC wins.

Lawson's awesome. Too bad I think he's a tick too small for the pros.

My point isn't solely because UNC won by 35. It's that to win by 35, you have to completely dominate a game, and you don't luck in to winning by 35. And I happen to think that when Team A dominates Team B in the way that UNC did MSU earlier this season with the same exact players (sans Suton) at the same exact site, that 35 points is too much of a gap to overcome.

 

All 4 of UNC's losses are to teams that are worse than MSU. They beat Penn by 15, based on your logic, do you believe that Penn could beat UNC but not MSU? I think UNC is gonna win, but to write off MSU because of a game from 4 months ago is pretty nuts.
