I'll give you Mickens but I'm not a big Keenan Lewis fan. I think he's overrated partly because of Oregon State's stout front 7.

I can see that with Lewis. I think both are 2nd-3rd round guys, but neither is likely a shutdown, #1 type either.

I'll wait and let IMB make the final call, but here are my thoughts. I could see the Cowboys taking Paul Kruger out of Utah. He's the BPA on my board. The Cowboys could look to draft Herman Johnson as well, as they could use depth on the OL.

Something tells me though, that Jerry may want to make a spash with this pick and take Pat White here.

IMB, what do you think?

i don't see jerry going after pat white, he didn't even go to arkansas

I'm cool with Kruger. If there was more value at CB left here, i think they may go after one

You're right that a CB would be nice here, but they took two last year. They also need depth at safety and inside LB, but I don't like any of the players available for this spot.

Cowboys select Kruger.

I hate the two of you.

Since I have no idea who any of the other CBs are on the Raider roster besides Nnamdi Asomugha after looking at it, I figure they can probably use one.

Oakland selects CB Mike Mickens from Cincinnati.

With Clifton and Tauscher getting up there in age, this team needs to focus on drafting another tackle because the past picks the last few years haven't panned out. I recommend we draft Gerald Cadogan out of PSU.

The Jets are coming up soon, I had a couple names in mind but both were recently taken. In the interest of making things go faster, if anybody wants to PM me suggestions for the Jets selection, I'll take a look.

I've gone QB/WR so far, and am looking for BPA.

I am down with this. Depth is very much needed on the offensive line.

Well since the GB guys picked my EXACT pick for the third consecutive round :glare: , I'll need a few minutes to discuss with CubbieBum.

With the 74th pick of the 2009 NFL Draft, the San Fransisco 49ers select...

Asher Allen, CB Georgia

Speedy, undersized cover corner might need some time to develop, but he could make an instant impact in the return game.

The Bills have filled needs at DE, TE, and WR (with T.O.). Their next need is at Center. They decide to take 2008 Rimington Trophey winner A.Q. Shipley out of Penn State.

The only thing going against him is his height (6'). He'd be the total package if he were 3 or 4 inches taller. Bills take him before Pittsburgh has the chance to keep him at home.

There's definitely some other positions that the Jets could fill here, but I'm going to continue the offensive skill position trend in the draft, selecting Donald Brown, RB UConn. Thomas Jones has been a nice RB, but he'll turn 31 before the season starts and has already carried the ball over 2200 times in his career. Very few RB have carried more and remained effective. It may be coincidence, but prior to 2008, Jones had his best season the year the Bears drafted Cedric Benson to take his job. Perhaps they can get one last solid season out of him with Brown pushing him and preparing to be the next solid cost effective back for 2010-2012.
