Saturday, Jan. 10

4:30 p.m. ET - #6 Baltimore Ravens @ #1 Tennessee Titans

CBS

8:15 p.m. ET - #4 Arizona Cardinals @ #2 Carolina Panthers

Fox

Sunday, Jan. 11

1 p.m. ET - #6 Philadelphia Eagles @ #1 New York Giants

Fox

4:45 p.m. ET - #4 San Diego Chargers @ #2 Pittsburgh Steelers

CBS

Should be three good games for sure, I'm not certain the Cards can hang with the Panthers, though.

As long as my tickets arrive as expected, I will be in attendance at the Titans game - which hopefully will be awesome.

Like I said my semi-bold predictions

Ravens

Steelers

Eagles

Panthers

If there ever was a year the Chargers can win it all, this is the year..No Indy or New England to mess it up of getting into the big dance..If they lose it,it'll be in the cold against Pittsburgh..Cmon Bolts!

Titans

Chargers

Panthers

Giants

My only problem with the Chargers is Sproles getting 25 carries a game again, but who know he could be just fine

Ravens

Panthers

Steelers

These are my picks too. If this happens, I'm picking Carolina/Baltimore in the SB.

That's what I predicted and kind of hope for the SB...Both D's will be fun to watch

baltimore @ tennessee (-3) (o/u 34.5)

san diego @ pittsburgh (-6) (o/u 38)

philadelphia @ new york giants (-4) (o/u 40)

arizona @ carolina (-10) (o/u 48.5)

apologies if i don't feel much sympathy about andy being terrified of the cardinals.

I'd most definitely take the under on the Baltimore/Tennessee game.

Ten is really really high. We don't blow teams out.

I think we'll win, though.

lines are made by professional gamblers who really, really know what they're doing. they also probably noticed that carolina won half of their games by 10 or more points.

And Arizona can't win east of the desert.

I should rephrase. Ten is high for a playoff game. If you take Carolina and give the points, you're figuring that they really can't stop our run at all (they did contain Turner last week, but it was in Arizona) and you're probably assuming at least one long TD pass from Delhomme to Smith.

It is true that they only blew out half of the teams they played this year, but if you take a closer look, they beat teams by more than 10 points 5 out of the 8 home games they played.

This isn't about the playoffs, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless:

The Cowboys have cut Pacman Jones. Not a surprise at all, I just wish since it was going to happen that it would have before the Titans had to surrender a pick for him.

The Cowboys have released Adam "Pacman" Jones, and a team source told ESPN's Ed Werder that the move was made after the team learned of new allegations against the troubled cornerback from his time with the Titans.

Apparently ESPN dug up the story on the incident at the bar and now Pacman's pissed at them.

Jones denied the report and told the Dallas Morning News: "It will be a lawsuit in a week against ESPN. That's stupid. It's so stupid I have no more comments."

I think that's actually a valid defense against libel. A person whose reputation is so bad they are essentially libel-proof.
