NFL divisional round playoffs

i'm getting tired of hearing "this is the team you don't want to play." only a quarter of the nfl teams are left, other than the cardinals is there any team that you're like "boy this shouldn't be this difficult." pretty much everyone is the team you don't want to play.

 

Agreed.

 

On a seperate note, I was just thinking, there are a lot of damn good stories left in the playoffs.

 

Cardinals are historically futile

Giants are trying to win without their #1 receiver who shot himself

Eagles were left for dead a month ago and improbably got into the playoffs

Chargers are trying to be an 8-8 team going to the Super Bowl

I'm glad Chris Johnson's injury exposed how bad the Titans are with Lendale White as their starting RB. Maybe CJ can get some goal line carries next year..

uh oh i think since the chargers are hot and the steelers have great defense and a qb who has won a super bowl, both those teams are Teams You Don't Want To Play. So next week we're going to have a battle to Teams You Don't Want To Play. Maybe they'll just agree not to play and flip a coin instead.

That happens a lot. Besides if you look at the game clock a second doesn't even tick off (okay maybe 1 ticked off). Of course it looked like it was 6 hours because they showed the clock (and replay) in slow motion.

uh are you sure that joe flacco is completely aware of where he is? he was like 2 inches from stepping out of the back of the end zone. i'm pretty sure he isn't dropping back 11 yards and still completely aware of where he is, within a matter of inches.

That call probably doesn't matter if LenDale White doesn't fumble inside the 20 and Crumpler doesn't fumble at the 5. Tennessee was set up for at least a pair of field goals and maybe a TD on the latter drive and they got nothing. They outgained Baltimore by 180 yards but they turned it over three times to the Ravens' 0 and had 12 penalties for 89 yards to Baltimore's 8 for 40.

That was bad. Really bad. Penalty after penalty. LenWhale sucks. That non-call with the clock sucked, but the Titans should have been winning at that point. Why is it that all my teams suck once the playoffs start?

They might be the worst Divisional Playoff participant ever.

 

Like I was hoping they could at least keep it somewhat close for 2-3 quarters so I could keep my interest, but it looks like they have 0 chance of that. I'm thinking 41-10 is the final score.

Seriously....seeding in the NFL playoffs is weird.

 

I would guess more often than not, a crappy team wins a bad division while a superior wild card team finishes with a better record, leaving the #1 seed playing a better team.
