I didn't know Felix was hurt. Damn.

He pulled his hamstring in the 3rd quarter. Looks like it is a fairly serious pull too :(

Man, and hamstrings tend to linger, too. Sucks.

Wow, did the Cowboys ever overpay.

Oh, and Roy Williams and T.O. in the same locker room? Getcha popcorn ready.

Roy Williams has always wanted to come back to Texas. With that accomplished and being on a winning team with a new contract, I think he'll be fine.

You make it sound like Roy Williams has some kind of awful past. He will be fine, plus his impact on the field will make TO's life easier.

I think Jerry was a little worried about the Eagles landing him as well. And it looks like the contract extension has been finalized for Roy as well. May have overpaid but getting one of my favorite UT players ever on the Cowboys is pretty cool.

Andy, you're going down SUCKA!

As usual, I have no idea whatsoever what will happen. Carolina is the enigma of the league and has been for four years. We could conceivably win or lose the game by up to 30 points either way.

Should be a good game, though.

I doubt he was talking about Williams.

i sure wish the bengals could unload some players for draft picks :(

I pretty much knew it wasn't going to happen, but I was really hoping the Titans would pull off some type of a Housh for a 2nd round pick deal.

Obviously never happened, but it would've made me very happy.

This should be a fairly easy win for the Titans, but I'm not expecting anything. The Chiefs are not a very good team and the Titan defense should be able to take the ball away from Kansas City's offense with fair regularity.

That said, it is at Arrowhead and there is a tough stretch coming up for Tennessee over the next four weeks after this game. I think the Titans win, but it'll be a little closer than it ought to be.

I was hoping for Tony Gonzalez for the Packers.

Too bad Thompson doesn't believe in trading any kind of draft pick. But its instances in like what Dallas did that make me happy he's not a total idiot when it comes to overspending. The more I think about that deal, the more I don't really understand why they gave up so much for him. Sure they locked him up long-term and yeah Roy Williams is a good wideout, but nothing in his game makes me scream that he's an elite wideout. I just think for a 1st, a 3rd, a 6th, and a 7th, you better be getting a freakin' superstar with all those draft picks you're giving up.

I kept hearing rumors that the Titans were interested in Tony Gonzalez, but never really understood it. We've got Alge and Bo Scaife, so even though Gonzalez would have been an improvement over those two, it wouldn't be enough for the third rounder that I was hearing.

Fisher just isn't really a fan of wide receivers, I don't think. It's almost like he's avoiding going after any.

We gave up our 1st, 3rd, and 6th only, Detroit gave us a 7th in addition to Williams. And it might have been overspending just slightly, but no WR in the 1st round was going to be as good right now as Williams is. Plus, even with all the draft picks we sent to Detroit we still have 9 picks right now(2nd, 3rd from Cleveland, 4th from Detroit, our 4th, Tennessee's 5th, our 5th, 6th from Miami, Detroit's 7th, and our 7th), and will probably get 2 comp picks (For Julius Jones and Jacque Reeves).

if he gives you full effort, which he will for Dallas, he's a Michael Irvin-type talent

they overpaid, but he's really elite

Hm, I'll take your word for it. Al Harris shut him down time after time after time though. I thought that Calvin Johnson was easily the better WR of the two in Detroit.

I think the big knock on him is that he lacks focus, and doesn't always give his full effort. I hope things come together for him in Big D.

Because if there's one thing Dallas is known for, it's player focus and effort at all times.

Those are valid points.

I think from Detroit's view, they got a really good deal. Haven't been able to say that about them in awhile. That Millen firing must be paying dividends already.

Romo has told the Dallas coaching staff he's ready to play on Sunday.

Link.

The quarterback informed coaches on Wednesday that he is ready to play Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, a high-ranking Cowboys source told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.

Romo did not practice on Wednesday but did throw the ball on the side, and according to eyewitnesses, he was able to throw the ball with good velocity and appeared confident after throwing. The session was not open to reporters.

The Cowboys' biggest concern is that Romo gets hit again, causing him to miss more time than initially anticipated.

I am not at all sold that he will actually play.

Colts got John McCargo from the Bills for (reportedly) a fourth-round pick. He hasn't done much, but was a first-round pick and has much needed size (6'2", 307 lbs.).

Well, so much for that trade. McCargo fails his physical and goes back to the Bills.

Ouch, that sucks. Joseph Addai will also be out 2-4 weeks - not a good week for Colt fans so far.

At least Bob Sanders should be back soon. . .

Damnit. No Matt Millen and lots of draft picks? The Lions could actually be decent in a few years.

Curses!

They've got a long ways to go though, I think it's going to be at least 3 years before they are actually good. They might make some noise before then, but they are worse than the Wanny Bears.

The Colts just can't catch a break at DT.
