This is funny. there are a bunch of things saying he is likely going to Chicago and no one will believe them, and then one guy says hes going to atlanta and everyone gives up. this must be a Cubs fan site.

Really nothing beyond "Jake wants to be in Chicago" and "Atlanta isn't going to happen". I have more to say, but the more I think about it the more it could hurt the Cubs chances of getting him. I'm a Cubs fan first and foremost so I will not risk reducing the Cubs chances of getting one of the best pitchers in MLB just to improve my credibility with the board as a whole.

CBSSports.com's Scott Miller believes the Padres will soon ask Jake Peavy to waive his no-trade clause to complete a deal to Atlanta.

Miller thinks the deal involves Yunel Escobar, Gorkys Hernandez, either Charlie Morton or Jo-Jo Reyes and one more pitcher, possibly Blaine Boyer or prospect Jeff Locke.

No doubt. I have complete faith in my source. I have to go, my pillow beckons. I will though, share my information with a mod when I log in tomorrow if someone PM's me. Obviously Tim would pull rank, beyond that I don't know who I should talk to. I just can't imagine the Cubs acquiring my 2 favorite pitchers within about a 6 month period. That's just too ridiculous. Hope you're right though Donnie.
