I cant hold it back anymore. The Rays are just an awesome team to watch. As a cohesive unit, Ive never seen anything like them. They are truely good at baseball. Please dont go the way of the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cubs and start going after over priced garbage.

Huh? Rays or any team in baseball would kill for a payroll like the Cubs, Red Sox, or Yanks.

And any of those teams woukd kill for the talent on the Rays. Of course, in a few years time, they'll probably be over paying for those players.

This is why I wanted the see the Sox vs. TB, it's just a better matchup for TB. It was good to see Kazmir close up his front side arm after the 1st few innings and settle in, still wasn't his best outing but TB is real good in close ballgames.

It'll be the same thing with Garza and his FB command as his secondary pitches aren't real good, occasionally the breaking ball will have some snap, but when his FB is one, he can throw it 95% of the time and shut them down, espec. the White Sox who aren't a great FB hitting team.

No idea how much I'll be around tomorrow to post this so I'll do it now.

The Rays try to eliminate that other team in our fair city and move on to the ALCS for the first time in team history. They'll have to do it against the guy that helped pitch the White Sox into the playoffs in the first place.

This should be interesting. Let's get it on.

I'll throw this here too...

GO

DEVIL

RAYS!!!!!

They end up changing their name by dropping the "Devil" and won their division that year.

That's why it's hidden, but I still think of them as the Devil Rays.

Maybe dropping the "Devil" part of their name made God like them and thus bestow favor upon them. :-k

Maybe we should be the Holy Cubs or something.

I'll take Devil Cubs if that's the route to the WS.

That's why I wanted to see the Sox over the Twins.

Sonnanstine has no fear at all and it showed tonight, Floyd was off today and TB took advantage of it. TB is the better all-around team and it showed.

It's not even close.

I'm torn between rooting for the Red Sox or the Angels. The Rays matchup better against the Angels, but have HFA against Boston and have handled them at the Trop.
