Thanks Z!!! Due to your no-no, our ineptitude and ridiculous play calling will no longer be the main story tomorrow. You're the best.

Sincerely,

Ron Turner and Lovie Smith

And short of the Cubs winning the World Series or clinching the NL pennant, this is the most special moment in my time as a fan I do believe. I always wanted to see a Cubs no hitter....I remember when Jose Guzman came within one out against Atlanta in 1993.....OMG it finally happened. It happened. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Wood's 20K game was more special, IMO. It shoulda been a no-hitter. Zambrano should have also thrown one about 5 years ago in Arizona, but got screwed out of a call. Still, I don't want to take anything away from Zambrano tonight. He was amazing!

I remember that Arizona game. I was so pissed.

And the Wood 20k game is still my favorite ever Cubs game.

ESPN Classic will probably show this later this week, right? I'll have to DVR it and use it to keep me warm over the long winter.

Hopefully, it won't be too long this year!

Folks, this is one of those we're never gonna forget. Thanks to whoever told us the game was on FSSW on Directv.

And thanks for the Barclay Sports link too!!

This almost makes up for my house being flooded today...(ok...it doesn't...but it does take some of the edge off)....historic floods, 100 years since last title...First no-no in over 30 years....something's a brewing this year...

From some Astros fansite:

I'm going to keep my contempt simple. When asked about or in there is in any way a reference to Zambrano's no hitter, I will simply not acknowledge this game. The Astros should never ... ever play the Cubs in Milwaukee. Therefore, the no hitter does not count to me.

I'm thinking The Apocolypse.

Courtesy of Brewerfan:

I would be livid if I was an Astros fan. And it's sad for Brewer fans as well.

While the Brewers are pissing away their season, our biggest rival gets a free home game, in our stadium, and the biggest jerk in the league throws a no-hitter. What a disgrace.

I wonder if Brewer fans realize this actually helpstheir playoff chances.

If they were playing a little tight in Sept. this should loosen them up a little bit. Hopefully next weekend, they'll be jumping around again and of course again in late October.

You too, huh. At least a tree didn't fall on your house too.

Someone call the Ambulance quick... WAAAAA WAAAAA...

Get no hit, I'll keep it that simple.

Just from the Cubs alone, this season has been remarkable at points;

- No-hitter tonight from Carlos

- HUGE come back win vs the Rockies

- The big offensive game vs the White Sox - 2 HR game from Edmonds

- The grand slam from Reed Johnson in Arizona (that I think was a win?)

Man... if this season doesn't end up at least in the World Series... there is no justice in this world. At all.
