We will have our home away from home rocking while the Stros bitch and moan about having to play a "home" game in the Cubs' backyard. Price gouging sounds as if it is occurring, but I feel we'll have a strong enough contingent there to bother the Stros to the point of them complaining about it and using it as an excuse.

I predict a romp. 5-0. Our beloved dominant Z will return with 9 no hit/shutout innings and a solid single.

Drayton will be sobbing in his lake filled streets.

Go Cubs.

I am normally hesitant to give much props to predictions, but very well done, good sir. Well done indeed.

Take a look at the time he edited it.

I would be livid if I was an Astros fan. And it's sad for Brewer fans as well.

While the Brewers are pissing away their season, our biggest rival gets a free home game, in our stadium, and the biggest jerk in the league throws a no-hitter. What a disgrace.

You all can thank me. Back in the 4th inning I decided I better not move from my spot on the couch or it would jinx the no hitter. :yahoo: \:D/

NEVER GET UP AGAIN!!!

All three of my football teams won, the Cubs reduced their magic number by like 5 without even playing more than once, and CARLOS ZAMBRANO THREW A MOTHER FORNICATING NO-HITTER.

This is the best sports weekend EVER.

GO CUBS GO!

Same here.

Mizzou wins. Kansas loses. Packers win. Bears lose. Vikings lose. Lions lose. Brewers lose 4 TIMES. Cubs Win! Z no-hitter.

And short of the Cubs winning the World Series or clinching the NL pennant, this is the most special moment in my time as a fan I do believe. I always wanted to see a Cubs no hitter....I remember when Jose Guzman came within one out against Atlanta in 1993.....OMG it finally happened. It happened. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

I remember catching the end of that game. But, what I remember is Frank Castillo taking one to 2 outs in the 9th against the Cardinals and then either Ray Lankford or Bernard Gilkey tripled to break it up.

Jeff Kent threw a no hitter too? I thought he was on the DL. and a second baseman. Thats pretty damn impressive.

This has got to be a dark day for Brewer fans. Your team is at the low end of what may end up being a devastating collapse (when your team's first postseason in 26 years seemed a certainty only a week ago), having just had your WC lead swept away, meanwhile the hated Cubs are winning a no-hitter pitched by the hated Carlos Zambrano on your field.

And then you realize it will probably be the most celebration that field will see this year, and probably next.

Ugly.

Sure would have been nice to actually get to watch the freaking game! Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wood's 20K game was more special, IMO. It shoulda been a no-hitter. Zambrano should have also thrown one about 5 years ago in Arizona, but got screwed out of a call. Still, I don't want to take anything away from Zambrano tonight. He was amazing!

Wonder if that douche realizes what he just witnessed. What a scumbag, bitter moron who's team sucks and pissed away the greatest chance they'll ever have to go to the playoffs in a LONG time. I cheered Buerhle's no no... it's something rare to witness. Leave it to an uneducated Brewer fan jerk to try and take away from this accomplishment... have fun watching the Cubs in September :)

I remember that Arizona game. I was so pissed.

And the Wood 20k game is still my favorite ever Cubs game.

ESPN Classic will probably show this later this week, right? I'll have to DVR it and use it to keep me warm over the long winter.

Agreed, no hitters in the makings are great things to watch. I don't care who is throwing it. I've witnessed (on ESPN bonus coverage) Annibal Sanchez's, the Red Sox one this year, and big Z's.
