If I registered for division series tickets and didn't win, do I have to re-register for NLCS tickets?

No, you are automatically re-registered, regardless of whether you won or not.

the real question is CAN you register for the NLCS

because if so, i will be registering a crapload of emails... what do i have to lose, my 1/50000000000 chance that i would've otherwise had?

I just registered a new e-mail address a few minutes ago.

cool, thanks

what i dont understand is if they really wanted to do this lame "let as many fans have a chance as possible" thing, why include people who won in the first round in the next round of drawing?

FYI, still some bleachers out at craigslist for $300 each. I'm really really tempted. But if the buying the password thing works, that would be $ well spent for the NLCS.

I'd hold off. Last year the ticket prices went down after starting out extremely high.

Yeah; I ended up getting 4 for $460 total (lower level terrace about midway up) for Game 3 on the day Game 1 started. Of course, considering how the game turned out I still overpaid by about $1000.

My friend managed to get 2 tickets to Game 5 if it happens. First-base side, second deck.

Course, I'm not the ticket #2. I'm not sure whether I should be happy for him or not if Game 5 ends up happening.

So I was able to buy tickets at like 12:02 today from the lottery.

Decent seats for game 2 ---section 239...

do I re-register for NLCS OR WORLD SERIES?

thanks

You wouldn't have to re-register for the NLCS.

For the guy who was asking, I just registered my one personal e-mail address. Just dumb luck that i got picked. Although, I like to think the Cubs did me a favor given how much money I've dumped on tickets over the years...

Haha everyone that bought tickets is going to have to take off of work to go.

Yeah, that'll teach em!

Hey if it forces one conflicted person to turn around and sell me their tickets at face value, it was worth it!

Where does it says this will be a day game?

http://www.tbs.com/stories/story/0,,154864,00.html

Day Date Game # Time Series

1) Weds October 1st # 1 1:30pm or 3:00pm NLA # 1

4) Thurs October 2nd # 2 1:30pm or 3:00pm NLA # 2

NLA = National League Division Winner versus Wildcard

What if Milwaukee is the WC, would we then become the NLB? What I mean, is the "A" designation tied to the wild card, or tied to the #1 seed?

Looking at the sire, it appears we woulc shift to NLB, no?

It appears it's tied to the WC, and would therefore be the most likely cubs series. But if MIL wins, they would switch to B.

Something tells me that TBS will figure out a way to air all the Cub games in the evening. That happened in 2003, IIRC. Don't remember any day games last year, either. The Cubs will draw the biggest TV audience, so the network will want them to play in prime time.

I got two tickets for Game 2 in the left field Bleachers in row 5 through the lottery. I'm not too worried about this because I'm sure once the matchups are set, the Cubs games will be in primetime because those are the games that will get the highest ratings, therefore making the broadcasting companies the most money. Either way, I'm not missing this game, regardless of the time it starts.

In response the who asked the question, I too only entered my one personal e-mail address.

Game 4 of the '03 NLDS was a Saturday afternoon game I believe.

Game 3 last year was at like 4:30 at the latest.

Game 3 last year was at 5 pm CT on Saturday. Game 4 of the 2003 NLDS was on a Saturday at 3:30 pm CT (and game 5 at 7 pm CT on Sunday).

But yes, weekend games are different.

it was relatively early.

best day of my life, OU demolished texas during the day and then Aramis hit a grand slam and the cubs wailed on the marlins.

both seasons went downhill from there.
