I guess my thoughts are, where do you stick all the people? I guess switching DeRo and Soto, but still, freakin' Mark DeRosa would be our 8 hitter.

Cubs have sent out lineups in the past with 4 hitters best used in the 8th spot. This year, they don't have anyone who is so far worse than anybody else at getting on base that whoever has hit 8th most of the time is the top 8th hitter in the league on that given day.

Did anyone else hear anything about Harden complaining about a tightened shoulder after this last start? I was reading the Cub Reporter blog and in their game preview they linked to a comment in the last game thread that said Lou told Ron that Harden was pulled after 87 pitches because of a tight shoulder
