With a win from Ted, the Cubs would have 3 pitchers with 10 wins before the ASB for the first time in a really long time.

Motion for the Dusty B sweep machine.

Beautiful chance for a sweep and a 4 game win streak, the pitching match up would suggest we should be favored in this one

Means we'll lose, obviously.

Yeah dude, that was pretty weak.

Hey Cobs remember what it was like to be 20 games over .500, help me be able to say that tomorrow sir, coupled with another St Louis and Milwaukee loss! :)

Wonder if Soto will play today. I'd sit him. This would be a good day for Daryle Ward to get a start and ice cold, Edmonds to take a seat.

My lineup:

SS- Theriot

CF- Fukudome

1B- Lee

3B- Ramirez

LF- Ward

RF- Derosa

2B- Fontenot

C- Blanco

yes. rest edmonds, please. the cubs face three RHPs this weekend so now is as good a time to rest him as any. i'd also give soto the day off like you said. not opposed to a "forfeit" lineup today.

Have to feel good about this one. Lilly has been steady Teddy for about last two months.

Go Cubs!

Hooray for day games!

Arroyo's last 2 starts have been good though. But I prefer to channel his 10 run meltdown against Toronto a couple weeks back.

Gooooooo CUBS!

I have never understood why people hate Corey so much.

Could be his .169 BA and .477 OPS after June 1st in 2005.

IMO it was because he was overhyped and didn't live up to it. Plus, he was one of the few everyday guys that had potential to be something decent and fans let him feel the brunt of their frustration when he didn't live up to it.

He didn't really seem lazy, he was just overhyped. It happens. More importantly, he was traded 3 years ago and we are having an amazing year, booing Corey is just extremely petty.

I didn't say he was lazy. I liked and always defended him and I agree the booing of Patterson is pretty lame.
