BTW, can everyone going to this game NOT boo Corey please. That was ridiculous tonight. (and no I'm not always against booing)

I have never understood why people hate Corey so much.

IMO it was because he was overhyped and didn't live up to it. Plus, he was one of the few everyday guys that had potential to be something decent and fans let him feel the brunt of their frustration when he didn't live up to it.

He didn't really seem lazy, he was just overhyped. It happens. More importantly, he was traded 3 years ago and we are having an amazing year, booing Corey is just extremely petty.

I didn't say he was lazy. I liked and always defended him and I agree the booing of Patterson is pretty lame.

Oh, I wasn't directing that at you at all :thumbsup: . I just feel that's the only reason to get on Corey. He always seemed like a nice, quiet kid who just had too much put on him.

Soto's started the last 22 games straight now.

Although that's overstating it. 3 of those were DH starts, and the Cubs have also had 3 off days during that time. Plus with the All-Star Break coming up in a few days, I can see why he's riding him a little bit.

He is flying to NY, dealing with all the surrounding issues, and probably catching 4-5 innings. The fact is it's not off days. Henry Blanco is the one getting off days.
