Although I do think its funny the players didnt even vote Pujols on the team. I wonder if thats saying anything about how the players feel towards him?

Well he does have a higher OPS than Quentin, and basically the same as Sizemore, so either of those would be understandable. I cant believe Sizemore is only hitting 265.

Am I nuts for thinking the NL has a decent shot this year? The AL seems more bogged down with crappy fan-favorite choices, plus all but ignoring the Rays really helps.

How Crede made it over Longoria is a mystery to me. I think Francona still has some bad blood flowing from that Rays/ Red Sox fight. Out of the White Sox, I think Dye and Pierzynski deserved it more than Crede.

I know you can't make an across the board comparison because of positional needs, but looking over the White Sox, I'd say Crede is somewhere around the 9th most deserving all star on the team.

The only problem I could see coming from that would be the potential for four 1B on the all star team. Berkman, Pujols, and Gonzalez are all more deserving right now. (Although I'm going to assume that Clint Hurdle will put Pujols in the DH spot)

I remember when I was a kid I thought Baseball Tonight was the greatest show. I still watch it for the highlights from time to time, but the analysis is rough.
