I hate making outs on 3-0 counts.

3-1

I know Ronny hit it well, but when you are down 6 you should take two on 3-0.

why? He got a pitch to hit and it was 3-1. Why go to 3-2 when you can hit 3-1 hard?

Cause I doubt he can throw three straight strikes.

It was 3-0, according to Gameday.

It was 3-1 according to Gameday and the guys on the radio.

I mean it was 3-0 at one point. 3-1 by the time he swung.

Agreed. His odds of doing anything productive drop when taking a meatball for strike to get to 3-2.

Not only that but he hit the ball well and it would have gone right up the middle had it not struck fatty contreras and bounced right to teh 3b

i must have missed your complaint about swinging at 3-1 pitches after geovany soto homered on one of them.

carlos delgado has 9 RBI

mets & yankees are supposed to start in a little over 2 hours at shea, and they're still in the 9th inning at yankee stadium.

Hence why split town doubleheaders are a horrible idea. I'm sure they will be getting a police escort, but even with that the traffic in Manhattan will be bad enough to get them there less than an hour before the game.

Kinda funny that right now people are probably in Shea waiting for a game that will be played by 2 teams who are currently playing another game on the other side of town.
