Haven't checked the thread..... how many times has CubsGM said "LOL" after a play went against the Cubs today? Or how about "Ballagame"?

one lololollollolol after the gs

I went down to eat when the score was 8-2 and, looking at the box score Edmonds and Ward had good games, which are good signs I guess. Not many positives to take away from today.

Well, if Dempster comes to earth, it might be better that it happens sooner than later. I was kind of afraid Hendry and Lou were going to feel comfrotable with Dempster as their numbers 2 starter for the rest of the season and into the playoffs. This should put a little more pressure on Hendry to get a top of the rotation guy.

Well, the Cubs had beat the White Sox 9 out of 10, so they were due to finally win a game against us; No biggie. Only a few more games until interleague is over and we can concentrate on the teams that matter the most.

All that said, I'm VERY concerned with D-Lee. There is obviously something wrong with his swing for him to be on pace to break the all time DP record. It's time for he and Perry to watch the videos and see what's wrong. At this point I think he should be hitting 5th or 6th.

No big deal. Going into June we knew this month would be tough as hell, and we hung in there quite well.

I couldn't tell you, cause after the second inning his "lol's" made me use the foe list for the first time ever.

Agreed. I want Aram coming up in the 1st inning with runners on, instead of Lee.

The biggest thing I've noticed is that Lee is swinging at tons of crap nowadays. He's swinging at pitches below the knees and way outside, pitches that he never used to swing at.
