Well boys, our Cubs are, as the kids say, "en fuego." Six in a row after that awful series in Pittsburgh, and we have a chance to have an undefeated homestand before going out west for a week and having all the games be really, really late at night. Stupid west coast.

 

For the Rockies, we have Ubaldo Jiminez, who is giving his best "Deer in the headlights" impression

I thought Cubs fans were crazy when they kept talking about a sweep. No team is ever favored to four-game sweep another.

 

But a few breaks have gone our way, we've won the one-run games, and here we are.

 

How's this for a stat? The Cubs haven't lost a game by more than two runs since May 7.

That was my thought. I suggested "SOAPDROPPING Crazy Bears" if they keep winning as Super Cubs. However, if they lose tomorrow I would vote to never promote them above "Cubs" again.
