Just wondering what the favorite station to watch the cubs on is for you guys (and girls?) out on nsbb. I perfer WGN because its what I'm used too. But as much as I hate to say it I actually like watching the cubs on ESPN.

I love the Sunday night games on ESPN...Everyones watching since it's the only game on and usually has that playoff atmosphere..That one game 2 years ago when Jaque hit his first HR is one I won't forget. The crowd was absolutley nuts.

That is far and away the most insane I have ever seen Wrigley in person. I thought the walls were coming down when Barrett hit the grand slam that night. Absolutely nuts in the bleachers.

I enjoy ESPN only because I love mocking the ESPN announcers. I dislike the blue scoreboard this year on WGN..it really bugs me for some reason. In years past I'd say WGN, but now I'm saying CSN

It was absolutely insane right along the third baseline too. The only time I've seen it more crazy when I was at a game was after Kerry Wood's home run in game 7 of the NLCS. You want to know why the concrete is crumbling? That's exactly why. The stadium was literally shaking.

I like ESPN because they seem to have unbelievable HD cameras and sound, but I can't stand the annoucers. I prefer WGN out of the Chicago area stations. Comcast just seems so... cheesy.

Either Comcast or WGN are fine with me. I'd imagine that WCIU would be ok with me too if I could get it.

But I can't stand Fox or ESPN coverage. Fox is especially awful.

WGN and Comcast.

Love ESPN's production quality, can't stand most of their announcers. If we could get Mark Grace for every ESPN game that would be my #1 choice by far.

Hate WCIU because they seem to go to that behind the catcher shot every third pitch. THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY.

so it gives me a feeling of superiority.

I'm holding my tongue.

Out of line.

So I should have said something?

Comcast, because their HD telecasts are available on Extra Innings but WGN-HD isn't available on DirecTV.

Agree.

Although I will often flip over to the ESPN booth early to hear what their main talking points are going to be for the game, and I will go to the opposition's feed on occasion to hear what they are saying.

Should have said nothing.

Come on, it's just good-natured teasing. Sorry if I didn't use an emoticon or something to soften the point.

I usually just tune into whichever broadcast is being carried on the MLB EI package. I get to listen to a lot of the opposing team's broadcasters, which can be fun to listen to them talk about the Cubs.
