There's a bit of Ichiro in there, too, swing-wise.

Fukuwalk. 1st and 2nd, 2 down.

He's kinda like Matsui, too. Only he doesn't hit really anything like him.

Really dumb steal attempt. Even if Bard is terrible.

Meh. We have a lead and i'm guessing he was 100% sure he could make it and made the decision on his own since Kosuke didn't go.

Well now it's a moot point as GEOVANY SOTO walks.

Let's go DeRo.

Well that was not an intelligent move by Lee. The only thing he could have done was end the inning.

This is the same board that said a one-pitch flyout by Lee was better than a seven-pitch strikeout by Theriot, so I'm sure Lee did the right thing.

Or move himself up so a hard-hit single to the shallow OF would still score him. He had no way of knowing Soto would walk.

That play didn't bother me. Lee's a smart guy. I'm guessing he doesn't go unless he KNOWS he's going to get in there in that situation.

The breakeven point in this situation is way over 85-90%, so he'd essentially better be absolutely sure he'll make it.
