Have we all calmed down? Can we look forward eagerly to the next game as a reasonable fanbase?

God forbid people get pissed off over a heartbreaking win.

Is that like when you win the game but lose several key players to injury?

Trying to figure out what you're referring to...did the Brewers lose anyone?

Let's not start stacking up bad losses. I think that's a really good idea. Anyone with me?

I dont know, I kind of like stacking up on bad losses. I want to see more of Bob Howry and Mike Wuertz. and can we start Jason Marquis every 3rd day?

Hey Fred, since you put that little copyright thingee at the bottom of your post, do we have to ask permission to quote it?

'Cuse, you have my expressed written consent to borrow from my work, so long as you cite me as your source.

Thanks Fred, you're a gentleman and a scholar.

I think the reference is to sometimes there are losses where you go... oh well, just wasn't our day, let's go out and get em tomorrow boys.. you know one of the 60 you're pretty much guaranteed to lose every year.

Then there are losses that make you go into a profanity laced tirade.

Those would be the bad losses.

Coincidentally, MIL also lost somebody very important.

Busch Stadium is where Cubs seasons go to die.

Haven't the Cubs played well at New Busch since it opened?

The only thing better than Busch is New Busch.

Oh snap, just saw the story.

Yost and co. were idiots to let him play after that, it looked like he tore something just watching replays and he didn't look the same after the injury (yes, he didn't hurt himself even more by staying in the game but still).

Yup supposedly he has a torn ACL.

The only one that is shocked by this is Yost and his idiot trainers. Everyone else could see the kid was hurt.

Good question. He'll probably get a day off at some point this weekend. Normally Sunday would be obvious, but its a night game.
