Lieber instead of Marmol?

 

Marmol's the 8th inning guy.

 

If that's really Lou's reason, he needs to be taken out behind the barn and shot.

 

This was a huge situation. We should have been bringing in our best reliever.

Well on the bright side the Cubs have given up 5 runs but my huskers scored 13 runs in the top of the 5th against Creighton today if anyone cares... And hey the cubs have had some clutch hits you just have to hope they can hit when they are losing.

So, use Marmol with a 3-run lead for 2 innings, but don't throw him in a 1-run game in a pressure situation?

 

Cubs will still win this game.
