I don't think Wuertz pitched that poorly. He gave up two ground balls. If anyone thinks pitchers can control where a ground ball is hit, they're an idiot.

Yeah, back to back up the middle, a little to the right or left and at least one of them would have been an out and probably a dp

 

I'll admit that they were both hard hit, and preferably Wuertz would like them to get a little less bat on them. But, they were ground balls which is exactly what you want in that situation.
