Players will be wearing 42 again on jackie robinson day. yay :-) too bad I have class so I can't work that day. lame.

Am I the only one who thinks the 42 thing is kind of stupid?

What's the point of retiring a number in the first place if you're going to let it be worn again every year?

I think there's a difference from players wearing it every day and one day of the year a large portion of the league donning the number in honor of him.

 

I think it's cool. Plus, it makes Lee wear high socks.

ball 2 was a strike!

 

I think you are missing the fact that the camera angle at PNC Park is different than most ballparks. Its more off to the right side. So a lot of pitches to that side of the plate look like strikes when they are balls.

The 42 thing doesn't bother me, but I'm not automatically going to consider a player a great guy cause he does it.

Who ever said anything to the contrary?

Ehh, what kind of bizzarro world is it when we can only count on Z & Dempster right now in the starting rotation? Lilly & Rich need to get going....and quickly before Dempster remembers he sucks
