You can't pretend minor league stats aren't generally going to be pretty good indicators of future success.

For a lot of players. But given Cedeno's makeup and skills, they probably aren't the best indicator for him. I addressed this a few pages ago.

You could say the same thing with Pie's long swing and lack of plate discipline.

OK, did the forums just go screwy for a minute for everyone else?

Leadoff walk. Ugh.

Yeah...I think Tim is still hunting out that bug.

News: Orioles 2B Brian Roberts walked twice Saturday against the Mariners and now leads the AL with seven. He also stole two bases and doubled, finishing 1-for-3.

Analysis: Roberts is now batting .364 to go with his league-leading walk total, and any team that wants to trade for him might have to pay more now than they would have March 31. His potential to hit .300 with 10 homers and 40 stolen bases makes him a must-start in Fantasy.

Would be realllly nice in our lineup..

What's with the loser fan behind home plate with the Pirates flag? We get it, you're a Pirates fan. Obviously, a season ticket holder because I've seen it repeatedly when we play there.

He always starts the year hot. If he keeps it up in the second half, that's when I'll regret not trading for him. As it is, I'm happy with DeRosa's 8-24 start.

That might have been the most disappointing fan cam of all time. Where were all the hot girls?
