Well, we'll probably still win this game, but this one inning turned it from a thing of beauty into just an ugly game.

It's either the offense, defense, or the pitching. Can we ever have all three functioning at once?

Exactly my issue with Cedeno....the bat doesn't make up for the defensive lapses.

 

Compared to who? Theriot doesn't get to that ball and two runs score either way.

 

I didn't say that Theriot would have gotten to that ball, but if he did, I doubt it ends up in the stands.

Everyone on the team should be required to take mandatory fielding practice tomorrow.

 

7-5 Cubs now. McLouth triples.
