I think Fukudome's patience has infected the whole team.

Better than the time Farnsworth's herpes infected the entire team!

...what? :-"

Lol

So someone I work with says she's heard Farnsy has several illegitimate kids.

Can you imagine an army of mini Farnsworths walking around? They probably all need custom jeans because their quads are fully formed at age 8.

Not to mention they all have the ability to kick anyones ass.

Anyones.

And, jesus len - tell us when the ball is hit and where. Not just that someone is gloving the ball. Yeeeesh.

CUBS haven't scored 6 runs in an inning since they scored 7 on Thurs 16 Aug 2007 in a 12-4 victory over Cincinnati.

I know I've said it before, but you have far too much free time, my friend. And I love it.

Gee, I'm sure glad that I'm out of class early and had the chance to see a 6 run inning!

Oh wait. Screw you, WGN. Give me my freaking picture back for more than commercials.

You don't have a radio? At least you can still follow the game.

It'd be nice not to have to use Marmol today.

Seems like the perfect day for Lou to give Howry that work he was talking about.

So someone I work with says she's heard Farnsy has several illegitimate kids.

Family is the most important thing in my life," Farnsworth says. "That's No. 1 for sure. Baseball comes in second after that."

"We have a bake-off every year and the kids are the judges," says Shayla Pert, his fiancée. "He always wins; I think he pays them."

Farnsworth laughs upon hearing this, though Pert quickly clarifies, admitting to his superiority when it comes to their culinary skills.

"He's a great baker," she says. "He's Betty Crocker. He makes the best peanut butter cookies ever."

Isn't he still on the DL?

Cedeno for starting short stop.

Okay, I'm converted. I was one of those in the camp of "Theriot sucks - but he's the best we got." Screw it and just play Cedeno.

I'm watching on MLB gameday - was it a well placed gapper or a shot over the CF's head?
