Thanks for that one-pitch out when we're trying to run Gorzelanny out of the game, Soriano! Helpful! Full of help.

Oh, really? I thought they were trying to score runs and win the baseball game. How stupid of him to try and drive a good pitch which he almost hit out.

I don't mind keeping Gorzelanny in the game, we've been hitting pretty well against him. I just wish Soriano would have looked at 3-4 pitches before swinging.

OK, taking pitches is obviously a good thing...but when mashers like Soriano, Lee and Ramirez see a juicy first pitch they think think they can clobber, they shouldn't hold off just to take some pitches.

so awesome, the Pirates game is blacked out on EI for me. just, cuz, you know, MLB likes throwing darts at the map now and again

Why? He almost knocked that one out. I'm all for patience and such but if he see's a pitch he can hit out, by all means...

AND WHAT THE HELL. GIVE ME MY GAME BACK.

Oh god now there's no picture and he's back under water. WTF WGN.

Nah, it's the WGN feed. It's blacked out on channel 9, too.

Fabulous. Good to see the production is going well for WGN today.

Another walk for the Cubs? Holy crap. What is going on this season?

Maybe when they're batting under .100 (small sample size), they should watch a few more pitches though. Even moreso if they're leading off.

This is terrible. What the hell, wgn. I actually have a chance to watch a soapdropping cubs game and you soapdroppers break the soapdropping TV?

Soapdrop.

Apparently Ted Lilly's great-grandfather was actually IN the famous photo of the Rough Riders on San Juan Hill. The Pittsburgh FSN broadcasters were talking about it and showed the picture and circled him. Pretty dang neat.
