This is completely disgusting. I haven't seen baseball this bad since the playoffs last year.

This will be the 6th straight game that counts that we've lost.

ARE YOU READY FOR LAST PLACE CUBBIES!?!?!

how are we only 2 game out of first place?

I don't know!!!! Based on what I am seeing, we should be at least 10 games out by now....

well after Fielder gets hit for the second time by a lefty, I am done. I am heading home and I will hold out a small hope that the Cubs are playing better baseball by the time I visit Chicago in late April.

This game we look horrible. I'm trying to avoid over reacting, but after May, our schedule gets harder. Two games isn't a big deal, but if we don't turn it around by the end of the weekend, I will be concerned.

The overreation needs to simmer down---.

Why do people get all up in arms over fans getting upset over slow starts? It's the same thing every year. Slow start, MAN THIS SUCKS, hey calm down it's early, mediocre finish. Oh wait, it's too late.

Why can't Cubs fans, of all fans, get jumpy over the opening series? What's the big freaking deal? Saying this needs to stop isn't going to stop it.

Slow starts doesn't happen to the Cubs every yr. The Cubs got off to a 5-3 START in 2006, and finished April 13-10. In 2005, the Cubs fiish April with a 12-11 record. In 2004, the Cubs finished April 13-9. In 2003, the Cubs had their worst April (between 2003-2008) going 8-16. I'll give you the fact these starts aren't blistering, BUT....there not slow starts either. So, IMO the slow starts are individual players, not the team, per se.

I am concern, but then I realize there are 160 MORE GAMES left in the season, and my concern subsides. I won't turn on my concern-o-meter till atleast June.

Imo its time to back up the truck now.
