Wow, today is more than making up for yesterday's stinkfests. Western Kentucky scored what I believe is the first NCAA buzzer-beater since Northwestern State two years ago.

 

I've lost only 4 1st round games so far - two Sweet 16 teams (USC and UConn), but I feel ok about where I'm sitting right now.

I can't even watch that game at all, not that I want to. It is supposed to be the local game but the local station has the Oklahoma game so I'm blacked out from watching UNC win. Local UNC fans might be upset though. #-o

I'm 13-3 (losses: USC, BYU and Arizona) but I had USC to the Elite 8 so that was painful.

I picked Siena to go to the Sweet 16, but my bracket is already too screwed for it to matter.

I think i picked them to lose to Siena. Part of me wants them to win and beat Clemson, as I'd rather play Vandy, but who knows. They're only down 10 right now.

Some comebacks going on in all three of the games - Mississippi State is only down 5, St. Joes is down 9 and Vandy down 7 with a lot of time left in all three games.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Vandy go down because I have them losing in the next round anyway and nobody in my pool has Siena winning and some of them have Vandy going to the Sweet 16.

Siena looks like they're going to go wire to wire against Vandy. Nice to see one of my upset picks come through. I need Oregon to start playing better if I'm going to sweep this session though.

If they hang on and if Louisville and Clemson take care of business later tonight, I'll have 14 of 16 Sweet 16 teams still alive. Not too bad.
