And then you can decrease the number of rows once you get through so you can "maximize" the window before increasing it again once the purchase is complete.

But use the time before the VWR starts accepting people to figure out what your computer is capable of.

I'm sure somebody has posted this somewhere; but for anyone who hasn't been over to Wrigley to get their wristband yet and hasn't seen the pocket schedule, it's everyone's fav. picture from last year.

That picture of Jacques seriously is my favorite picture from last season.

That leap would be correct. I asked the lady if they had been reading NSBB and she gave me a look like I was the biggest moron on earth, which may indeed be the case.

If I celebrated Christmas, I'd imagine that it'd be a lot like the morning Cubs tickets go on sale.

I look forward to this day for a long time.

only getting ticks to 2 games(for now) this year....may 10th and my b-day, since it actually falls on a weekend this year.

Ok, I need to decide. Go to work which will limit me to 1-1 1/2 hours to try for tickets and possible distractions but all with four computers at my disposal. Or stay home, which will allow me no distractions, all day, but only one computer... :-k

It's random when they pull you out of the virtual waiting room. Cubs/Sox tickets are particularly rough. If you get in for them or Cards games do best available, if you pick a specific section, you can wind up getting booted back out after choosing a section that winds up oversold.

Yeah, I've never tried to get Cubs/Sox tix. I usually go with something that I figure won't be as hotly contested, because I'd like to see at least SOME Cubs home games with really good seats. The strategy works -- I've been able to sit near the field the past 2 seasons. But the downside is, I don't go for the choice games where everything is rocking.

Although -- last year I got really lucky and was sitting right behind the 1st base dugout when Lee/Young got into their fight.

I wonder if tomorrow will be like last year where I didn't plan on keeping any tickets but I did and planned 5 days in chicago. I don't know if the wife would go for that again lol! Anyways, good luck with your ticket pulls!

so i don't think i'm going to have time to sit in front of a computer at work today to purchase tickets, so i'm setting up my home computer for it and having my girlfriend try her luck. i'll have about 50 windows open. i've given her detailed instructions on what the screen(s) look like (VWR window, purchase tickets window, etc.). i am praying that she doesn't mess this up for me. i'm aiming for may 31st against the rockies. wish me (and her) luck.

Cubs.com message board is saying the winning number is 600. 14000 was my number

Yes, 00600. Unfortunately I was 13717. I have never even been close to the number picked. It would not surprise me one bit if the Cubs rigged this thing for WGN employees.

Little help here guys/gals with Firefox.

I open a new tab, but its blank. How can I open the same tab over and over again without copying the URL? The tab says (Untitled).
