Yeah, they still couldn't do it even when they had the biggest powerhouse of a football team they've seen in GB since the Lombardi days.

Not sure what the defense will do in January. They might be a little better at covering the pass. I like GB's defense overall. But it won't be Rodgers coming in and settling down the situation. It'll almost certainly be Favre for the whole game, and much as I do think he's one of the best ever, this place just seems to have his number.

Peyton Manning lost his first 7 games in Foxboro (from 1998-2004, so not all those games were when New England was great) and the exact same things were said about that place. Since then, he's had 2 victories there. Those sorts of streaks occasionally happen. It's not like Green Bay ever lost to bad Dallas teams there.

The Eagles should have upset the Seahawks today, but Feeley sucks too much.

I'm always happy when the Eagles lose.

Other interesting news...

In Washington, there was an emotional tribute to Taylor before the game. The Redskins then took the field in his honor with only ten men and gave up a 22 yd run.

Miami is going to lose.....again!

Garcia is out for the game in New Orleans and reportedly has a hairline fracture in his back.

Carolina finally wins another game.

Can we please use the Wonderlic exam as a way to properly evaluate whether or not people are qualified to be NFL announcers? Phil Simms has the IQ of a potato and it drives me insane.

The Panthers win their first home game in like a year and a half, and break a 5-game losing streak...

And are a Bears loss away from being one game out of the last playoff spot in the NFC (and free-falling Detroit).

I love the NFC.

Westbrook returns a punt for 64 yds...

Eagles may not be done, yet.

Oops...sorry Eagle fans. Feeley throws it away again....

Patrick Willis is freakalicious.

This is the second straight week he's had 18 tackles.

Jon Beason ranks 10th in the league coming into today, but no one's even going to notice because Willis is so ridiculous. I realllllly wish Carolina had been able to get him.

And the JaMarcus Russell era has begun in Oakland. He's relieved McCown early in the 2nd quarter.

He's already fumbled the ball too. He did recover it though.

I'm gonna be super pissed if the Raiders blow a 17 point second half lead.

That's probably one that Cowboys fans shouldn't be posting for the world to see.

It's always nice when the Raiders beat the Broncos.

After 17 straight losses against the AFC West, the Raiders are 3:04 away from winning two in a row in the division.

What are the odds that Rex Grossman throws a pick on this drive...1-1, 1-2?

Also, if the Giants kick this ball to Hester, they are [expletive].
