Why did all of a sudden Baltimore start only rushing three guys on this drive? You're just asking Brady to sit back and pick you apart.

Because New England's O-line will pick up the blitz. They've done a decent job of stopping Brady with rushing only 3.

btw, Bart Scott - SIU baby.

That's an incomplete pass right there. That ball moves around in his hands, and by the time he gets full control of it he doesn't get 2 feet in bounds. I fully expect the Patriots will put the TD in anyway, but that should be incomplete.

Well, the ref called it the other way.

It looked like they were doing better earlier in this quarter when they were rushing more.

That was really dumb by the Patriots. Why not onside the kick? At most, you lose 5 yards of field position, and you take a few seconds off of the clock plus you have a chance to get the ball.

if it were possible to put money on a PI/holding call on a given play, i would have put a lot on ne's 4th down play. most predictable call ever.

You missed the countdown. It was on the previous page.

yes. one game closer to doomsday for the 72 dolphins.

While I was rooting for the Ravens Don Shula in the booth made me want to root for the Patriots.

how can you hate them more than the patriots?

oh, i hate both of them, but i don't think words can describe my hatred of the 72 dolphins.

it goes back to that fateful monday night in 85.

Have to agree on this one. I was not in any way even surprised that the refs decided Baltimore "committed" a penalty on that final fourth down.

I've been saying for a while the Pats were beatable and I definitely think the Steelers are the best bet to do it. If they play well next week (which they better), they are tenfold better than the Ravens and Eagles and might be as good as the Colts. Plus, they play exactly the style of play you need to beat the Pats. Run the ball, control the clock, beat up their linebackers. Keep Brady off the field and the Steelers are experts at that.

The Pats will lose in the regular season. I have no doubt.
