So, after Hawaii's win, the BCS is going to look like this:

BCS Championship: Ohio State vs. (#2)

Rose Bowl: (USC) vs. BCS At-Large

Orange Bowl: West Virginia vs. (Virginia Tech)

Sugar Bowl: (LSU) vs. BCS At-Large

Fiesta Bowl: (Oklahoma) vs. BCS At-Large

Two of the at-large bids will definitely go to Georgia and Hawaii. Some of those teams are in parentheses because they could still make the championship game, and in that case, likely the second-place team from that conference will play in their spot (USC -> ASU, LSU -> Georgia, Oklahoma->Kansas/Missouri). Also, if Kansas finishes in the top 4 of the BCS, they automatically take an at-large bid which sadly leaves Missouri out in the cold (or the Cotton Bowl). If Kansas doesn't finish in the top 4, I could definitely see Missouri jump into the Sugar Bowl with Hawaii in the Fiesta.

Of course, that last Rose Bowl spot is up for debate too. Common opinion is that the Rose Bowl will stick with tradition and pick an Illinois team to maintain Big 10-Pac 10 integrity. Arizona State is not going to be picked for the spot, because nobody is interested in a rematch. Possibly a Missouri or Kansas team if they aren't selected elsewhere, but since they have the first pick of at-larges, they don't have to worry about satisfying the other rules at that point (top 4 at-large or Hawaii). I think Illinois has the best shot at it, not because they necessarily "deserve" it, but because politically it just works out best.

Hawaii for the title game, please.

Large size for emphasis.

:pig:

I'd put them in the NC game before Kansas, but neither deserve the opportunity.

So it looks like Michigan might play Florida in the Capital One Bowl after yesterday's craziness. What a disaster that's going to be if true. Looks like it'll be the 5th straight loss in a bowl game for Michigan and 5 losses on the season. :x

Well, that was the second-worst sporting event experience that I've witnessed in person. We didn't do one thing right last night. Awful blocking, awful tackling, couldn't catch, couldn't punch it in inside the red zone. OU is a damn good team, and I have no shame with an 11-2 season, it's just too bad we couldn't pull off something special.

It's also a shame that Illinois and KU are going to get BCS bowl games and we aren't. I hate you all.

Shocking that LSU had to pay off Ainge yesterday to win. In no way would I have ranked them ahead of Oklahoma who pounded the #1 team in the nation. This LSU love is just ridiculous and driven by the overrated SEC. What the heck is everyone going to do when OSU beats them.

Be happy that Les didnt come to UM because he can't beat Ohio State. nah not really.

Last week coaches poll OU was behind LSU by 92 points. Now after beating the #1 team in the nation rather soundly they gain a whole 5 points.

LSU has a month to get healthy =D> \:D/ , I wouldn't be sizing up rings for tOSU any time soon.

Lots of sour grapes in here  .

LSU is going to disembowel Ohio State.

Agreed.

I think I know what it's like being a Michigan State fan at this point. I can't root for Michigan to beat Ohio State anymore, so I just have to root for bad things to happen to them.
