The Tennessee team that played Cal and Florida is back. Defense hasn't done a dang thing against Bama's defense and the offense has looked pitiful the last three drives.

 

If the current score holds, it'll be an extremely dissapointing loss.

Nate Longshore cleared to play for Cal in Pasadena about 20 minutes before the game.

I guess if you're ranked it's an automatic ticket to lose nowadays. #2 South Florida, #6 South Carolina, and #23 Cincinnati have all lost this weekend with #21 Tennessee close to losing and #5 Oklahoma and #22 Texas holding on to slim leads over bad teams.

 

Those are the only ranked teams to even play so far. I'm sure more upsets will be upcoming the rest of the day.

Vandy beat South Carolina 17-6. :shock:

 

This means if Kentucky can beat Florida, Tennessee still has a shot at the East title. We just have to make sure today is the last time terrible Tennessee shows up.

Well, ND's defense was holding well until one of the blockers on the punt team had the ball bounce right off of him and USC recovered at the 10. One play later, the USC tight end makes a great one handed catch and it's 7-0 USC.

Just got back from this game. Pretty much everyone except the coaching staff realizes this.

 

Does anyone know what the roughing the passer call was for on that last Oklahoma possesion? From my seat it looked like someone tried to tip the pass, and the QB never went down.
