nice baserunning soriano

Even the Marlins announcers are saying he was safe.

The Cubs' announcer disagrees

regardless of whether the call was right, there's no reason to take 3-4 steps toward 2B on a humpback liner to uggla. It was bad baserunning.

HAHAHAHA!!! It's just funny at this point.
No it's not.

No seriously, it is. I just laughed when I he got doubled off.

Then why even watch? Why is something like this funny in the middle of a playoff race? I hate when people say "this is hilarious, hahah." Why root for them if you find losing funny?

Because it's so sad and pathetic that all I could do was laugh.

[twisting my favorite Van Wilder quote]

Don't take the Cubs too seriously, you'll just end up killing yourself.

At least we got 1 run, damn people be thankful

So Marquis can give it right back? I have no confidence that he can hold anybody

I wouldn't be surprised to see Marquis done for the night.

I do agree with a lot of the posters here and Bob Brenly, Soriano has to take some blame there for making it a close play, I mean yeah he was definitely safe at 1st, but still, what's he doing that far off?

Hart has to be brought in at the first sign of trouble.

So, the first inning?

Oh, the world for a time machine.

To the people saying we'd be tied... you can't really say that this would've happened had Soriano still been on base.

Yeah Lee probably would have hit into a DP instead. 8-)

Completely agree. Little leaguers run the bases better than that.
