How many times has it happened that we have Zambrano going in the third game of a series, going for the sweep, against a weak lineup and inferior pitcher and we lose? I can remember the first series against the Sox, the last game before the break against the Bucs, and now (looks like) today.

it's pretty clear who this team's ace is...and it's not the guy with the $90 mil contract.

overreaction much?

Z hasn't pitched like an ace this season.

When was the last time we swept somebody? I can't remember one time this year.

EDIT: I got a little carried away.

But an ace doesnt walk the opposing teams pitcher, and consistently have games of 4+ walks.
