this surprised me too. McNabb seemed pretty sensitive about the media's speculation about Garcia taking his job, and while Kolb isn't going to start right away, you don't pick a QB early in the second round to sit on the bench his whole career.

 

This is the first sign that the Eagles are looking ahead to the post-McNabb era.
