EDIT - I've been in the AF for 8 yrs and I'm learning to speak the Taleban's language right now, so at least I feel like it's in my power to somehow take a small bite out of terrorism. Between shutting off the TV and changing the station, I can block out Celine Dion and Carson Daly. And getting premium or installing that firefox noscript thing takes care of the google ads.

 

That leaves cancer and the Cubs in a class of their own. I had to go Cubs, based on how the question was asked.

Nope. Because of my ASVAB and everything else when I joined they were really pushing me to go linguist, but I decided to go combat engineer instead. I may try to branch MI and go out there in a few years though.

I really don't understand how you can hate something like cancer. Sure it's a terrible disease and a lot of sadness is caused from people dying of cancer, but it's a disease. There is no underlying hatred behind the mechanism of cancer. There is no malicious intent behind the invisible biology that causes the unchecked cell growth. Hate the fact that your loved ones get cancer, but how can you hate cancer?

 

Terrorism is the easy choice in my mind.
