Wow, the Sox are struggling offensively right now. It seems that most of their guys are batting below .250. Erstad has one of the top avg's on the team at .258

He also had some cool looking shades on last night while losing the ball in the cloudy early evening sky. Harrelson and Jackson couldnt make up enough excuses for him. I wonder if it was Anderson they would have tried as hard.

Were those the orange shades or am I thinking of somebody else?

Haha that is great. But why do they allow that on youtube but not the Pittsburgh parrot on Cliff's homer? I doubt this guy got the express written consent of Major League Baseball (damn, I love saying that).

And once again the excuse making came out talking about how the inning shouldn't have even been that far if not for a previous error in the inning. I thought about this thread and that old clip when they said how rare it is that Erstad loses one of those.

The penultimate deke of a runner-what a grinder.

penultimate means second to last.

Are you saying Erstad's "deke" was the second to worst one you've ever seen?

The grittiest, hustliest, whitest player on the White Sox not named 'Podsednik' is out for at least two weeks, probably longer.

linkasaurus

Funny how they called him one of the bright spots. If hitting .260 something with an OBP in the .320s a bright spot, boy the White Sox offense is bad.
