I'd like the Cubs to develop a road jersey that looks like a grey version of the jersey the Reds wore yesterday.

Blue piping down the front and around the collar, the Cubs logo (or the walking bear if you have to - I don't like the walking bear myself) on the left chest, number on the lower right side, grey pants with a blue stripe down the legs.

That would be a good-looking road uni if you ask me.

The simple solution is to go back to the gray jerseys with Cubs written across the front. Those rocked.

I have always wanted the cubs to return to these road uniforms, stirrups and all..

For the home jerseys, I love the pinstripes but I think the off white jersey's of the 60's looked far better then today, plus I like the Cubs simple skinny logo instead of the one used today.

Just my opinion

Well they are better than the current greys but the blues will always be my favorite, its boggling to me that there are so many people that dont like them. Thats fashion though I guess lol

I'm curious enough about this to start a poll. I'm curious what the breakdown of fans/haters of the blue jerseys is by age.

I'm over 40 and I hated the blue jerseys.

While I'm generally happy with the current home/road uniforms, I'd still prefer it if they went back to the 1969 home/road unis. Especially the home uni - a thinner circle around the "C-UBS" logo and the bear head patch on the sleeve.

I really did not mind the blue jerseys all that much, I just got sick of them because the Cubs wore them it seemed like everyday. I think that a alt. jersey needs to be just that, an alt. to the normal jersey.

A former Cubs player told me once that the blue jerseys were more comfortable to wear so that why they wore them all the time......I don't know about that but I will miss the blue jersey just because I absolutely hate the grey road jerseys, the Cubs looked like a JV/Freshmen high school baseball team that did not have enough money to purchase more than one color in stitching...trust me I coached high school baseball and most team at that level have better looking jerseys than the road uni.

I'd be willing to bet the Cubs wore the blues over 50% of the time last year. Maddux wouldn't wear them, and I think Wood wore pinstripes at home but blues on the road. Just about every other starting pitcher wore blue

Every softball team I've ever seen or played on wore T-shirts and not jerseys, so I'm not sure where the softball jersey joke became fashionable. Wherever it came from, it's getting as played out as the towel drill jokes.

I'm glad to see the blues go. They looked like BP uniforms, for goodness' sake.

The grays aren't awe-inspiring, but at least they're traditional BASEBALL style uniforms. They could be dressed up, but they're better than the blues, that looked like pullovers from afar.

Maddux wore the blues on occasion

Prior stopped wearing them

I've had jerseys for softball teams. It's cause you don't play real man's softball that you've never seen them.

I actually really like the grays. As somebody else mentioned road jerseys aren't supposed to be flashy. Gray, with the city's name on it, it's perfect.

Pinstripes on the grays Tree?? I'm assuming/hoping that was a joke.

Getting rid of home pinstripes? Unamerican.
