Brett Favre is coming back for 2007. We have to deal with another fairwell tour.

BEAR DOWN, CHICAGO BEARS!

Is it my birthday? Bears are in the Super Bowl, AND Favre is coming back, thereby slowing the Packers' reemergence by another year?

Wow.

Aaron Rodgers, sucks to be you buddy.

Personally, I think Favre is better now than Rodgers ever will be.

That is not saying much, "Tedford" QB's suck in the NFL.

No kidding.... when you've sent six first round draft picks to the NFL and the most accomplished one is either Trent Dilfer or David Carr, that's not saying much.

David Carr is one helluva QB, dude.

The only thing that worries me is Accuscore because its actually a fairly good determiner of the outcome of a game.

No doubt about it, fellow Bears fans, this is gonna be a tough one.

Accuscore's only 6-4 in the playoffs. Not all that great.

But yes: this will be very tough. We'll need to play extremely well to win this game.

I've been hearing alot on the radio about "Rex getting frustrated" and "Rex fires on the media" I didn't hear the interview, but reading this article it kind of sounds like the moment was actually a humorous one:

Whether jet-skiing is a violation of safety clauses in contracts remains to be seen.

It certainly looks similar to riding a motorcycle on water.

Perhaps Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger might be able to offer advice on how safe it is or isn't.

Comparing jetskiing to riding a motorcycle without a helmet?! I don't know why I'm still amazed at how far-fetched and ridiculous the media gets this time of year (or any time of year, i guess), but they still manage to shock me every time.

Every CNNsi.com writer picked the Colts.

4 of 6 CBS Sportsline writers have the Colts.

Only 1 of the ESPN guys picked the Bears.

Accuscore has the Colts winning 62% of the time.

Simming the game on whatifsports.com seems to favor the Bears more often than not.

I like this boxscore. :D

I don't know much about accuscore, except that it picked the Bears when every brainchild at ESPN was picking the Saints. Does anyone know what the percentage was on that pick, compared to its 62.5% pick for the Colts?

Chicago has announced that they will be holding a ticker-tape parade on Tuesday afternoon.

Strange they would set up a parade for the losing team.

I don't dare say that directly yet, no matter how I feel :D

Not really last I heard they were considering doing one win or lose.

I can though because I'm not a fan. I just want to see Peyton win one and be able to talk about the Titans sweeping the defending Super Bowl champs next year. :P

Interesting. I didn't think parades were held when the team lost, pretty sure Nashville didn't hold one after the Titans lost.

The Bulls didn't even get parades....all we got was footage of the Bulls heading to Grant Park in coach buses, while MJ went on his own in his Ferrari.

Lame.

Rod Wilson was placed on the injury report for the Bears with a hamstring injury. He's listed as questionable and did not practice. Bradley was removed yesterday.

For the Colts, Jason David (ab) and Robert Mathis (back) were added and are listed as probable. David, Mathis, and Harper did not practice today. O'Neil and Sanders are still listed as questionable.

This is a good thing. The Colts were probably using a lot of their practice time scheming to stop Rod Wilson, and now they are probably scrambling to figure out what to do with him out.

And the TV Guide reads:

Sunday, 5pm

Super Bowl XLI:

Bears vs. The World

I thought the Colts won the AFC :-k

Might as well be "The Bears .v. the World, since EVERYBODY---outside of Chicago and the fanbase of the Bears---has given the Bears NO SHOT at beting the Colts.

All I know is this...the world will be in mourning on Monday, when the Bears head back to Chicago as World Champs.
