Montana is going to be an extremely tough test for SIU. Their stadium is probably the toughest place to play in all of I-AA. And they have made the playoffs 14 straight years. A win for SIU puts them in the Final Four in I-AA.

With Tennessee's regular season over, I'm going to be a huge Arkansas fan this week. Anything to keep Florida from winning the SEC title. Plus I think Houston Nutt's gotten a raw deal with the clamoring for his firing and I'm glad to see them do well.

Course, a Florida win might help UT get a better bowl so I am a little torn.

With a Florida win, there's a good chance they and LSU both get BCS berths and Auburn would likely go to the Capital One Bowl. That leaves UT and Ark for either Outback or Gator.

But if Ark wins, Florida gets a BCS and LSU goes to Cap One and Auburn remains in the mix for one of the lesser bowls.

Probably not a significant difference but I'm hoping for an Outback appearance for the Vols. A match-up with Penn State would be great to watch.

I think it only seats a little more than 25K, but they pack that place. And you're right, the stadium is real cool looking.

I would have liked to seen Montana.

I always enjoy watching the I-AA final 4 games. Colgate had a nice run last year.

Who does ISU play. I work with several alums and want to be on the ball tomorow with knowledge of who they play.

If you're talking about Illinois State, they play Youngstown State.

GO UCLA!!!!!

Amen. Also, go Florida. Judging by the newly released BCS rankings, Florida *may* be able to jump over Michigan with a win over Arkansas and of course a USC loss to UCLA.

That's another reason why I don't like those playoff games. That extra game can give a team an advantage over one that just plays 12 games. Of course it can bite them too for example if Florida loses.

I'm rooting for 2 BCS bids for the SEC as well. Either way, I expect UK to end up at the Music City. If somehow only 1 SEC gets a BCS bid, UK might end up at the Independence Bowl.

Go whatever keeps an ND/Michigan (or for that matter ND/USC) Rose Bowl as far away from a possibility as you can.

I have to eat some crow UK. We had a debate earlier in the year about who was better between Ole Miss, Vandy and Kentucky and quite obviously you were right.

Ya'll played a great game against us this week and I was worried the first game I watched from the press box would be a loss.

I was even more impressed by Jacob Tamme than ever, he's got better speed than I thought.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised with higher than an Independence Bowl or Music City bid, if they like you more than UGA or South Carolina and two SEC teams go to the BCS.

They surpassed my expectations as well, they played well vs. UT, just couldn't finish it off. It was clearly their best defensive performance despite all the missed tackles.

My SEC predictions

Sugar-UF

Rose-LSU

Capital One-Arkansas

Outback-Auburn

Cotton-UT

Peach-UGA (I hate Chick-Fil-A)

Music City-UK

Liberty-USC

Independence-Bama

I hope the Rose picks an SEC team for their other at large to play Michigan/USC.

Yeah I don't like that either. IMO Michigan is significantly better than Florida.

Sorry CR, but your Bruins don't have one prayer in hell of beating USC----even though I would love to see it.

Arkansas is too high I think. If they lose, they'll have three losses to Auburn's two. The Tigers will likely be the bigger draw to the casual fan and thus will go to a higher bowl. Also, if the Razorbacks lose, it wouldn't surprise me to see them drop all the way to the Cotton Bowl and UT fit into the Outback Bowl for the same reasons. Tennessee may be the bigger draw, both ratings and attendance-wise, despite the Ainge-less shellacking we took from Ark.

We'll know tomorrow if a rusty Ben Olson will be cleared to play over the crappy Pat Cowan.

Nope, they have little chance to win, given how weak the offense is. The OL will get completely manhandled, we'llbe lucky if Cowan throws more incompletions than interceptions and there are no playmakers on offense. The defense should hang in there for a while but won't be able to overcome the likely disperity in TOP and the short field from turnovers.

Oddly enough, I feel the Bruins have a better chance to win this year than last.

Heh, that's what I said about ND.
