Lets go Cards, or Lets go Mets?

Personally, I'm pulling for the Mets for a couple of reasons

 

1) My wife got tickets to all the games that remain (she's their traffic engineer) and since she's studying for her PE, the only time I'll see her when she's not sleeping, studying, or eating the next month is at Shea Stadium

 

2) Oh, she'll get a WS ring too if they go far enough

 

3) It'll shut Yankees fans up for at least 12 hours, although they're already going on about how the Mets couldn't win anything without a Yankee leading them.

 

4) A Mets WS win is bound to increase the value of my autographed Steve Trachsel bat

I'm going for the Mets, though I will feel dirty for it.

 

I'm also going for the A's to win it all.

69 is only part of the story. They were the Cubs big rival until realignment.
