Congratulations to the Cards for winning the 2006 WS.

 

Now that I live in Maryland I don't have to hear it from the obnoxious southern Illinois Card's fans so I guess it's not the end of the world.

 

What really annoys me though is that when Jeff Weaver wins the series clinching game against the Tigers the Cards will still be smart enough to realize that he's Jeff Weaver and they won't feel obligated to bring him back. So when he remembers that he's Jeff Weaver and starts to stink again it will probably be for the Cubs.

He isn't a great pitcher but he has been pitching great. I think that is what they mean. I hope it is cause nobody should call Suppan a great pitcher.

Colored ink aint cheap :( Even if the Cards were swept in 4, I'd spend a few hundred bucks on colored ink.
